Alexander Training Course Curriculum
Much of the training will involve receiving hands-on and verbal instruction from the training director and teaching assistants similar to private Alexander lessons.
Trainees will also spend a considerable time learning how to convey the principles of the Alexander Technique through hands-on teaching and verbal instruction.
Additionally, trainees will read and discuss F.M. Alexanders books and other books and lectures on the Alexander Technique.
Trainees will also study functional anatomy, anatomy of common injuries and neurological conditions, and basic science of human movement (motor learning and motor control).
